Terms of Service.

Short version: Hosted Snap is a free browser tool you can use to make before-and-after images from your own photos. You own the images you create. We provide the tool as-is, with no warranty. Don’t use it to do illegal things. The full legal text below governs in case of conflict.
1. Who we are
Hosted Snap is operated by Hosted Brands LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. Contact: [email protected].
2. The service
Hosted Snap (the "Service") is a free browser-based tool at hostedsnap.com that lets you composite two photos into a single branded before-and-after image. The Service runs entirely in your browser; we do not receive or store your uploaded photos. The Service is provided free of charge, with no required signup.
3. Your account (if any)
Hosted Snap currently does not require an account. If we add account-based features in the future, you must be 18+ and legally able to enter a contract to create one, and you will be responsible for keeping your password safe.
4. Your content
You own everything you upload to Hosted Snap and everything the tool helps you create. Because the photos never reach our servers, we never receive a license to your photos — they remain entirely yours. The composite image you download is yours to use however you want.
You’re responsible for ensuring that:
- You have the right to use the photos you load into the tool (e.g., customer consent where required, no protected health information, no images of minors without parental consent).
- The images you create comply with the policies of the platforms you ultimately publish them to (Google Business Profile content policy, Facebook community standards, Instagram community guidelines, etc.).
- You do not use Hosted Snap to create fake, misleading, or fraudulent before-and-after imagery (e.g., compositing someone else’s work as your own, manufacturing "results" that didn’t actually happen).
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Hosted Snap to:
- Create content that’s illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that violates third-party rights.
- Manufacture fake before-and-after imagery for fraudulent advertising.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract proprietary parts of the Service for redistribution.
- Resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement.
- Submit forms with fake or spammed email addresses to abuse our contact channels.
6. Billing
Hosted Snap is free. There are no subscription fees, no usage-based fees, and no paywalled features.
Hosted Brands LLC reserves the right to introduce a paid tier in the future, but the core before-and-after compositor will remain free. Any future paid tier will be governed by separate terms presented at the time of signup.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by closing the browser tab. We can suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms, especially in the case of abuse, fraud, or attempts to compromise the service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don’t warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation, that the tool will work in every browser, that the image output will be perfect, or that the Service will always be available. We will, however, work hard to keep all of those true.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hosted Brands LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total cumulative liability in any 12-month period will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hosted Brands LLC from claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms or third-party rights.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts of Kent County, Michigan.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
